Greetings my lovely FList and Communities I post to,

I have a very interesting Holyday Challenge. No it doesn’t involve exercising your creative fic muscles but it does involve exercising your creative gift giving muscles.

Question 1: What would you get your BFF Bruce Wayne, Tony Stark, Oliver Queen, Professor Xavier, Lex Luthor or Danny Rand (Iron Fist, owner of the Rand Corporation) for the holydays?

Question 2: If you were in the same socio-economic level, what would you give your BFF Bruce Wayne, Tony Stark, Oliver Queen, Professor Xavier, Lex Luthor, and Danny Rand (Iron Fist, owner of the Rand Corporation) for the holydays?

And if you want a good look into what other fans think are the richest beings in comics check out Who is the Richest Comic Book Character on the Economics Blog and enjoy the discussion.

Title: Marvelous!
For: candyflosskillr
From: mixe
Request: "Anything to do with Justice (Vance Astrovik)"
Pairing: Justice (previously, Marvel Boy) & Rachel Grey (aka Marvel Girl)
Rating: PG 13(ish)
Summary: Vance & Rachel, sharing a kiss. ♥
Artist Notes: I know you specifically requested Jance art from his time with the New Warriors or in the Initiative, and this is from the Initiative, but I just couldn't resist using the codename "Marvel Boy" in the image because it just sounds so cheesily sweet paired up with "Marvel Girl". LOL Sorry!!
I had a TON of fun working on this request. (Maybe too much fun.) I think I might have gone overboard stylizing the art, but hopefully you like it, and I can always send you the concept art and early sketches if you want.
Disclaimer: I don't own the characters.

TITLE: Making the Best of It
AUTHOR: elspethdixon
WRITTEN FOR: duskdog717
CHARACTERS/PAIRING: Hank Pym/Jan Van Dyne (Goliath/the Wasp), Clint Barton/Natasha Romanoff (Hawkeye/Black Widow)
SUMMARY: The Avengers are critically undermanned, the KGB is after the Black Widow, and Hank Pym still hasn't managed to fix his damaged powers.
DISCLAIMER: This story is based on characters and situations created and owned by Stan Lee and Marvel Comics. No money is being made and no copyright or trademark infringement is intended.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS: Many thanks to seanchai for beta reading for me!
NOTES: Set during Volume 1 avengers, after Steve and Hercules have left, when the team consists of Hank, Jan, and Clint. This story takes place immediately after Hercules has taken off, when Hank can't grow to Goliath height. Like crimsonquills, I've used the telescoping timeline in comics to set this in the 1990's instead of the late 60's, when the canon I'm using was published. Um, except for how it's a 1990s where the Soviet Union still magically exists, because otherwise the Black Widow makes no sense.

Title: Gatos
MODOK's 11.
For transemacabre . It may not feel complete. I would have liked to do something longer, but I'm the queen of the 'left unsaid,' and miserable at actual, conclusive plots. If that's a big problem, I'm sorry. But hopefully, it'll at least be a nice, quick exploration of a possible way things could go, after the end of MODOK's 11, and a pairing that came to mind after realising that the most obvious one wouldn't work, for certain reasons.
Rating: PG/PG-13 for swearing in Spanish.

Antonio Rodriguez isn't stupid -- not entirely, anyway.Collapse )

Somewhat late for Christmas...

Title: The Redemption Of Eddie Brock
By: Me, galamb_borong
For: subplotter
Beta: dakashy
Rating: R; adult themes, some violence; no graphic sex, but some ( homo ) sexual content; character death
Characters: Peter Parker ( Spider-Man ) / Eddie Brock ( Venom ); Mary-Jane Parker; Tony Stark ( Iron Man )
Genre: Angst; Slash
Word Count: 6239
Summary: From the moment Venom came into existence its life was connected to Peter's, leading them both to places neither of them had expected...
Author's Notes: This is an AU storyline loosely based around comicverse Spider-Man's time working with the Avengers, but all you have to know to understand it is who Spider-Man, Venom and Mary-Jane are, and that the Avengers are a super-hero team.

Fanfic lurks behind the cut...Collapse )

TITLE: Beneath the Armor
AUTHOR: Nix (keparker AT shaw DOT ca)
WRITTEN FOR: tmelange
CHARACTERS/PAIRING: Steve Rogers/Tony Stark (Captain America/Iron Man)
SUMMARY: Tony is forced to reveal his identity after his armor is compromised and Steve finds himself reevaluating his teammate.
DISCLAIMER: Not mine. Not making money.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS: Many thanks to seanchai and tavella for beta reading for me!
NOTES: I've made use of the telescoping timeline in comics to set this story in the 1990's instead of the 1960's, despite the fact that I'm using the 60's set up. This isn't really important, except for incidental references to technology that wasn't around in the 60's.
